"Tom managed to work his way through numerous technical issues placed before him to provide us with excellent sound quality both for the orchestra and the cast. Without a doubt he provided us with a level of quality that we did not expect due to the short amount of time he had to work in!
Tom came into the crew very late on and at short notice but was able to establish himself quickly and gain the respect of everyone around him. He works in an extremely fast and efficient manner while also giving the impression that he genuinely enjoys his work. He knew exactly how to deal with the cast to make sure that they were careful with the incredibly delicate microphones (this was no easy task as it was a cast of young people). Overall I would say he approched every task very professionally and efficiently.
Tom became involved with the production at a fairly late stage due to unforseen cicumstances. Although there was a worry from our point of view that Tom would struggle to get set up (due to the time constraints) the professional and competent manner in which he works meant that this was not the case. Tom had to deal with many problems including doing two shows in the week with a completely different cast but he never seemed in the slightest bit concerned and got on with the job in an extremely professional manner. It was an absolute pleasure to work with a someone who clearly enjoys their work, is willing to listen to your suggestions and wants to collaborate with you to get the very best out of an incredibly complex show. This was a sentiment shared by everyone involved with the production!"
-Joe Hallgate, Lighting - What Free Time? Youth Theatre, April 2012

"I have never before worked with a sound engineer that actually appeared to be listening to the performance and reacting to it. Tom's professional approach was reassuring and his accommodating manner and desire to do what "we" wanted rather than what "he" wanted was refreshing. This is the first show I have worked on where the musical director did not complain about the singing being inaudible and the cast did not complain that they could not hear the music."
-David Hallgate, Technical Manager/No.1 Piano - What Free Time? Youth Theatre, April 2012

“Tom has been an excellent member of the team. The show was great and the service Tom provided was excellent! His attention to detail really stood out. He worked well under the pressure of the show.
Tom remained professional at all times, was excellent with cast, crew and the public.
Nothing was too much for Tom, he would turn his hand to anything and always strived for the best. It has been a pleasure working with him and look forward to working with him again in the future.”
--Matt Coomber, Technical Manager/Lighting Designer -
Sheringham Little Theatre, Dec 2011

“Tom took everything in his stride and delivered an excellent service.”
--Mark Denbigh, Stage Manager - Sheringham Little Theatre, Dec 2011
